Bill Kalogeros is the Director, Federal/Defense for Nucleus Cyber, an archTIS company. Bill is responsible for developing the Federal/Defense sector business for the next generation of Secure Information Sharing at the Classified level, and Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC), Zero-Trust file security.
Mr. Kalogeros began his career proudly serving in the United States Army from 1981-1985 as an Army Ranger and Arctic Paratrooper and brings more than 25 years of overall Cyber solution integration, business development, and management experience.
Mr. Kalogeros has DOD Programs of Record with Defense Information Systems Agency (ECOS) and Naval Research Labs (DPI-VHE). He’s also held senior-level Business Development positions at GE Comstor, Cisco Federal, Bivio Networks, CloudShield, and HP TippingPoint, Inc. and works with leading industry prime contractors: BAE, ManTech, Lockheed-Martin, Northrop Grumman, etc. focused on Cyber Security solutions. His security industry experience has allowed him to brief Members of the US Senate and House, DISA, DHS, Canada Department of National Defense and the Transportation Security Administration regarding information assurance, defense-in-depth technologies and new technologies addressing Homeland Security requirements. Mr. Kalogeros is also a Strategic Advisor for Tempered Networks and Acalvio Technologies.
Mr. Kalogeros has spoken at numerous government and commercial conferences in the US and Europe, at RSA, AFCEA, LinuxWorld and the Techno Security Conference speaking on Platforms for Secure Military Networks and the impact of IPv6, as well as a contributed articles and Podcast to LinuxWorld Magazine: A Network Appliance Platform for Linux Applications for the US Department of Defense. Most recently Mr. Kalogeros spoke at the “6th Annual Government Insider Threat 2020 Summit,” and panelist (along with member from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency) on the “ITPA Cybersecurity Transformation Summit 2020, for Government Agencies.”
